Wholisphere
About

Equal access is the law's actual goal.

WCAG was written in 1999 because assistive tech could only parse HTML literally. Today, multimodal AI can look at a page and mediate it for any user — bypassing the decade of refactors customers used to need to be ADA-compliant.

Wholisphere is building the infrastructure for that shift. Our agent is a screen reader, a voice navigator, a captioner, a content simplifier, and a focus enhancer — coexisting with native assistive tech, not replacing it. Site owners get equal access without the rewrite, and an honest conformance report to back it up.

Our principles

  1. Honesty over claims. We never say a site is WCAG-compliant because of our agent. We deliver access, and we report what we delivered.
  2. Coexistence over replacement. Our widget is a landmark. Screen-reader users find it via standard navigation and choose what to engage with.
  3. Audit trail by default. Every agent action is logged. Customers can hand a court the JSON.
  4. The disability community shapes the product. We pay disabled testers from day one (Fable.tech), partner with disability creators on positioning, and submit our work to W3C/WAI for review.
  5. The widget itself is AAA. Our accessibility tool can never be the worst accessibility on the page.

Standards we follow

  • WCAG 2.2 Level A + AA (full coverage; AAA opt-in for federal RFPs)
  • EN 301 549 (EU)
  • Section 508 (US federal)
  • W3C ACT Rules (auditor-trusted automated test rules)
