Wholisphere
The no-overlay accessibility platform

Real scans. Honest reports. Never an overlay.

Everyone else does one of three things: scan, “fix” with an overlay, or consult. Wholisphere scans your site, finds the real WCAG issues, and generates an honest VPAT based only on what the scan found — nothing derived, measured, or inferred. Source-code fixes, verified by re-scan, are in development. No overlay, no client-side injection, ever.

One line of code, or zero — we can scan for you. Currently in invite-only beta: request access and we'll email you when a spot opens. SOC 2 in progress.

The free tier includes real scans on your URL. Access is by invite while we're in beta — request it and we'll email you when a spot opens. Hosted, zero-touch scanning is in private beta.

In private beta with early design partners. Built with what we sell — powered by:

How it works

Scan. Report honestly. Fix at the source.

Scanners find defects. Overlays claim to fix them and hide the rest. Consultants write reports. Wholisphere finds the real issues, reports only what it found, and — soon — fixes them at the source. What we can't fix, we disclose. We never fake it.

  1. Scan

    Find the real defects

80+ evaluators across WCAG 2.2 — automated hard-fail detection for all 55 Level A + AA criteria, CI-pinned against a 196-page testbed. Vision-LLM and Playwright probes catch criteria rule-based scanners can't touch — keyboard traps, reflow, images-of-text, measured flash rates. Opt in to scan linked PDFs and multi-step flows too. The criteria that still need human judgment are all Level AAA — they return a confidence-scored machine verdict flagged for one-click reviewer attestation, disclosed per-criterion in the VPAT.

  2. Report

    An honest VPAT

Every row reflects only what the scan found — nothing derived, measured from an agent, or inferred. Each verdict traces to its evidence. Signed, hashed, and chained into a tamper-evident audit log.

  3. Fix at the source

    In development

Not an overlay and not a runtime patch — a real fix at the source: a pull request to your repo, or a change through your CMS, then confirmed by a re-scan. This is forthcoming, and we'll say so plainly until it ships.

No overlay, no client-side injection, ever.

  4. Verify

    Re-scan, or disclose openly

A fix only counts once a re-scan confirms it. Anything we can't fix at the source stays openly disclosed in the report — never hidden, never faked behind a widget.

The differentiator isn't a magic fix — it's that every claim traces to the scan, and what we can't fix we disclose.

Try the agent

Click Read this page below.

A live, interactive demo running our agent against a sample article. Read it aloud, hide clutter with focus mode, or overlay live captions. Nothing to install.

Demo runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to your tab without your action. Want it on a real site? Grab the embed snippet or install the browser extension.

vs. the alternative

We are not an overlay.

Overlay vendors Wholisphere
Claims “100% WCAG compliant in seconds” Only what the scan found. No false compliance guarantees.
Coexists with native AT? No — fakes ARIA, breaks JAWS Yes — the widget is a landmark, never overrides screen readers
Audit trail? None Every agent action logged + exportable as JSON
Unfixable issues? Hidden behind the widget Openly disclosed in the report, per criterion
Lawsuits? 200+ ADA lawsuits filed against sites using overlays Architected with disability community input; hedged with real conformance reports
Receipts, not adjectives

Everything here is live.

Example — how a failing criterion lands in your repo:
⊙ Open 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum): 7 elements below 4.5:1 on /checkout

Automated scan on 2026-07-11 found 7 text nodes with a contrast ratio under the WCAG 2.2 AA threshold. Lowest measured: 2.9:1 (.promo-banner .fine-print). Auto-closes when a later scan finds this criterion passing; reopens on regression.
